How do you go about with aerial shoots in Dubai?
General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has ordered strict directions for adherence to safety and privacy standards, for shooting with drones. Areas in and around airports are pronounced no-fly zones. Drones are banned from flying within five kilometers of any airport or landing area. Operating drones near residential, populated and restricted areas are prohibited.
For public locations and most private locations, standard location fees are charged in accordance with Dubai Film and TV Commission (DFTC). The location fees for public locations depend on the nature of project. Different prices have been assigned for news, advertisements and corporate videos. Fees for private locations are at the discretion of their owners.
